Why would it matter if some mythical creature existed or not? Dragons, Fairies, Unicorns… why is it even important? Maybe they do exist, maybe they don’t, but does it change anything in how we are living? Here is what the materialist will tell you;

“The world is so exquisite with so much love and moral depth, that there is no reason to deceive ourselves with pretty stories for which there’s little good evidence. Far better it seems to me, in our vulnerability, is to look death in the eye and to be grateful every day for the brief but magnificent opportunity that life provides.” – Sagan.

It is a powerful argument, strong enough to make us forget a subtle yet liberating quality in the nature of the question itself… so I ask myself… why would it even matter if I saw a Unicorn? See, this is the great deception that we are struggling with collectively… its such a clever clever deception… that we are fighting to speak our INTEGRITY… and yet, can you not feel this deceptive wall blocking you from speaking? It’s almost pathological. It is a sickness.

Why do I care if any creature exists? A horse, a dolphin, an elephant… a holy cow… why do I care if any other human being exists? Sagan once said that we are all connected, but if he really believed that he would have asked, Why does it matter for you to see a horse?

It doesn’t if I have never looked a horse deep into its eyes… felt its very essence, felt the nature of what it means to be a horse… for a moment when you look into someone’s or an animal’s eyes.. if you look deep enough… you lose yourself completely… you stop existing and become part of something far more expansive, something magical and near impossible to capture in words… you experience its uniquely divine signature of light… you experience a fullness with it…

But to go that far, you have to be willing to drink in the experience with total abandon… you have to be willing to fall deeper, and deeper… into its infinite core…

“The name of infinite and inexhaustible depth and ground of our being is God. That depth is what the word God means. And if that word has not much meaning for you, translate it, and speak of the depths of your life, of the source of your being, of your ultimate concern, of what you take seriously without any reservation. Perhaps, in order to do so, you must forget everything traditional that you have learned about God, perhaps even that word itself. For if you know that God means depth, you know much about Him. You cannot then call yourself an atheist or unbeliever. For you cannot think or say: Life has no depth! Life itself is shallow. Being itself is surface only. If you could say this in complete seriousness, you would be an atheist; but otherwise you are not.” — Paul Tillich.

When a person begins to do this, suddenly everything begins to fall into place. Why do I care what Shiva represents if not for the DEPTH of what he is. It doesn’t matter if he is God or man, what matters is the insight that comes with losing yourself in him…

Yet the world has become so desensitized that hardly anybody truly surrenders into their experience… there are always barriers… and in a world like that, somebody with that mindset… if they suddenly found a whole new species of animal, they wouldn’t give a damn, really, except to label it and objectify it… but the real discovery is looking deep into its eyes. That’s when you really begin to understand.

The Illuminist Blaze of Glory is the Eye. The eye is the revealer. The only way to understand the importance of a Unicorn is to drown into its eyes… feel its celestial identity… surrender to it… like surrendering to the Goddess… or to the goodness in you… and everyone does that at some point… being reduced to tears that cleanse the soul… then it matters.

Imagine for a moment, looking deep into the eyes of a Unicorn… seeing it sparkling with something beyond life itself, seeing its purpose for existing, its supernatural energy, its blessing, its love, its ethereal wisdom… seeing its benevolent nature that if anyone even asks for its magical horn, it would simply bow down and offer it to you in an instant… there is something to be said for that… one who encounters a Unicorn in this way, even in their dreams… are never quite the same again…

I have heard it said by those who have been to the astral worlds that the elves may not have created they earth… but they certainly were the ones to bring the MUSIC. Music exists because of them… now imagine seeing this in their eyes! The very nature of how music is their gift to the world… the soul of it exists deep in the shine of their eyes.

It is said in Illuminism that our journey and evolution has been to begin as a reptile… a serpent… and slowly by surely… to find our wings… a winged serpent – a Dragon! For a serpent to lift off the earth and soar into the skies… the eye is the revealer…
